Stoked! Tue Feb 9, 2010 7:31:20 am by squishmode, 26, F, straight, hermit, South Brunswick, NJ, United StatesI can't wait to get my Slanket. I hear it's so much better then the Snuggie. Bigger, better material. . . I am stoked!
Amanda Mon Feb 8, 2010 12:57:34 pm by erdos0, 34, M, straight, single, New York, NY, United StatesI don't often look for former classmates on Facebook, but their latest revision forces me to look at the friend suggestions page before I can see my categorized lists. It's quiet on the internet this morning and I noticed a link for finding my high school classmates. While browsing through that, I found Amanda. I liked her a lot but never talked to her. Now I see that she is a lesbian and it would have been futile.
This morning. Mon Feb 8, 2010 3:15:01 am by sweeneyjohn, -97991, M, straight, hermit, Montrose, CO, United StatesI was sitting on a bench outside my building--morning twilight air is awesome--and a middle-aged man I've never met before said, "How you doing, boss?" and sat down next to me.
He asked a few questions: "What's your name?"; "What do you do?"; "So who do you think's gonna win the Bowl?" When I told him I didn't follow football, he went inside his apartment.
He came out again a few seconds later and said, "Hey John, do you drink?" When I said I didn't, he said all right and went back inside, and that was it.
It was odd, but pleasant. People don't often approach me like that. I think he was trying to make a new friend, but I was too tired to make the connection. Either that, or he was planning to kill me, and I was too tired to die. Either way, it was interesting.
I am not watching the Super Bowl Mon Feb 8, 2010 2:38:38 am by erdos0, 34, M, straight, single, New York, NY, United StatesDespite not understanding the game, I sometimes watch the Super Bowl just for the advertising. The most interesting commercials are usually shown for it. I no longer have a functional television signal. I'm sure that I could find a source of streaming video online, but it's not worth the effort. I can watch the youtube compilation in a few days.

Untitled Post Sun Feb 7, 2010 10:53:11 am by jodymarie, 21, F, straight, single, bitchhhh, NJ, United StatesReaching a whole other level of crazy. Working 7 pm to 9 am.. its 530 now, and i'm in one hell of a fog. Theres a homeless woman outside, sleeping alone in her. I couldnt imagine, not having any where to go, or no one to go too. I feel so sad for her. Its made the day surprisingly difficult. Not being outside in 10 degree weather, but seeing her has been the hardest part of my night. How did she end up where she is, and why? I hope she wakes up soon. I plan on giving her my tips, and i stole some good coupons for her. How could she have no where to go? My coworker says shes a sweet woman but sleeps here every night.
And the drunk drivers! 90% of the tanks ive filled, the persons been drunk. Absolutely mind boggeling. Back to work...

Hinderances Thu Feb 4, 2010 10:00:36 pm by firecove, 25, F, straight, hermit, Hell, PA, United StatesThings keep trying to hinder my plans for this weekend.
First the snow and now a possible severe cold. (L has one and I feel myself coming down with something--and have been fighting it with vitamin C, and some herbs).
I WILL NOT LET IT THWART MY PLANS.
Maybe the snow will help? After all, what's more romantic than fire, wine and a movie when it's snowing outside? Maybe we'll get snowed in. ;-) I just have to be able to GET there first...and a foot of snow in my little car?
hello Thu Feb 4, 2010 4:53:40 am by thekfactor, 2094, M, straight, single, The Big City, DC, United Stateshello there. I am K. R said it would be cool if I got a blog here so I did.
I live in America and have a fast car that burns a lot of gasoline. I also go to community college after dropping out of real college.
Today I spent 3 hours at the clinic waiting in line for a doctor who prescribed me medicine for a bronchial cough I have. I paid $40 for going to the clinic but I have insurance so it's not as expensive as it could have been. Also the doctor had Rangers and Special Forces lapel pins on his coat but I was too tired to ask him about it after waiting for over two hours. I have some interest in the subject, and am seriously considering joining after college.
idk what else to write. you ask me questions and if i'm comfortable with answering them, I'll answer.
